We make events fun, furry and unforgettable!
Dave's interest in puppetry began at a very young age in his childhood home in South Bend, Indiana. Both of his parents encouraged his creativity: his mom taught him to sew and his dad taught him to carve foam. Both of these skills have helped him to create all of the memorable Roz Puppet characters.
Dave started performing puppet shows professionally in 1997, at local libraries in northern Indiana. He is a full-time, professional puppeteer and artist. Roz Puppets now travels to perform throughout Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, and Kentucky.
Dave continues to grow as a puppetry artist, and is a member of Puppeteers of America and UNIMA-USA.
Dave met Carolyn after a library puppet show. They quickly realized they were destined to be together, and she began to help Roz Puppets with publicity and marketing.
We have now added website management and coordinating summer tour schedules to her duties.
She joined Dave for performances until they adopted a sweet, needy rescue dog with separation anxiety.
London is the Roz Puppets great travel dog! While Dave and the puppets are performing, London and Carolyn explore local parks.
The adventures continue after they retrieve Dave and the puppets, as they explore small towns, find street art and covered bridges, and visit coffee shops on the way home.
Roz Puppet performances are available for library programs, schools, churches, festivals, parks, businesses, organizations,
and more.
We have also performed puppet shows at business Christmas/holiday parties! If you need a family-friendly entertainer for your event, email us.
Please note:
We are not available to perform at private homes,
or for birthday parties.
We're now booking though December 2025.
